What services will (layops) provide?
This website is to become a portal where reputable web design firms can post their unused layouts for sale. Visitors will be able to contact the companies and buy exclusive rights to these layouts. In addition, visitors will be able to post comments and rate the layouts. (layops) will not charge any fees or take commission for the service.

What are "unused layouts"?
When a company starts to work for a client, it may have several ideas for the navigation and the structure of a website. Often the client is offered different designs and only one gets selected. The remaining ones, which are still of high-quality, can be sold to a third party on (layops).

Is this a template selling website?
No, (layops) is meant to encourage exclusive licensing of designs. Firms will not be allowed to post several times the same layout.

When is the project to be launched?
A tentative launch period is the end of February, 2008.
